Drunken Comics Rage

 

If you take your comics seriously, this site is not for you.

 

Well, maybe that's not quite right. 

• If you are one of the many who are above the age of 18 that willfully enter a comic shop on a weekly basis, you obviously take your comics seriously.

• If you plunk down hard earned cash at $2.99 or more a book, you obviously take your comic books seriously.

• If, in doing the above, you risk the ridicule of friends and coworkers who just don't “get it”, you obviously take your comics seriously.

 

These are not crimes. At least not yet.

However . . . 

• If you do not have a sense of humor about your comics, this site is not for you.

• If you are hung up on continuity, this site is not for you.

• If you are in your 30's and your mom still drives you to the comic store and then pays for your comics, this site is not for you.

• If the word “masterpiece” comes to mind when you think of any of the following: Identity Crisis, Infinite Crisis, X-men: Last Stand, Superman Returns, Smallville.  This site is not for you.

• If you believe drinking is a sin, this site is not for you.

• If you are easily offended, this site is definitely not for you.

• If you let things like facts and logical thinking foolishly get in the way of a good opinion, then this site may not be for you.

 

But if you read comics, have a warped sense of humor, and occasionally enjoy an alcoholic beverage of your choosing, we welcome with you open arms.

Come on in, the booze is fine.
