Not The Avalanche I Was Expecting

I hadn't been to the comic shop in the last three weeks. We usually get together during the day at lunch, hit the shop and get some food, every Wednesday. For the last two weeks I've been trapped at work, and wasn't able to go, and just never got around to going after work.

This week I expected to end up with ten or more books at least, but they must have been off weeks, as I only picked up five total. They were:

Fantastic Four #550, New Avengers #35, Green Arrow Year One #5, WWH Frontline #5, and Nova #7.

The real downside to those is that only two of them I can read. I haven't started the Green Arrows yet, nor any of the Annihilation Conquest stuff, so that knocks out Nova #7. I'm up to date on WWH Frontline, but would like to read the actual WWH title, and the Incredible Hulk, before I read the Frontline.

That really only leaves me with FF and New Avengers, which is a little disappointing in number, but not necessarily content. Looking forward to the FF because I've really been enjoying those. I'm on the fence about New Avengers. It's been good so far, and the whole Skrull thing is interesting, like the team, just not crazy about the art, and other than the Skull plot, I haven't been all that excited with the storyline. I'm happy to stick with it for a while and see where things go.

I might have a few quick reviews soon, or if nothing else next Wednesday should be the mother load, and I'll have a lot to rant and rave about.
