Make With The Go
Well, we had some technical problems here at our lovely site. From some reason the Freak Angels ad was trying to pull stuff from the Sprout site over and over, and eventually locking up the site (at least for me, and possibly DVO). The second I removed it, everything seemed to run fine, no locking up, so I'll keep it out of here until further notice.
Sorry if this caused any issues for anyone else.
Speaking of the Sprout stuff, I'm pretty pleased with how the SDCC 2007 picture thing and the SDCC 2008 countdown turned out. I'll have to play around some more with the countdown, since the whit background is a little bland, but I'm happy it's working correctly.
The cool thing about the two sprout widgets is that anyone can put them on their website. Just click the sprout toolbar at the bottom, and it should take you to their site, where you can download the code, then paste it onto your site, and it should fire right up. I doubt any one is going to be rushing out to do that anytime soon, but might as well throw it out there.
The pictures brings you to our SDCC 2007 page with all of our pictures, and the countdown takes you to the official SDCC site. In the nature of full disclosure, the SDCC countdown isn't really until the show starts, but it's set for the moment The Monkey and I will touchdown in San Diego, and our SDCC 2008 vacation begins. So it ain't perfect for the general populace.
